The OrionCam is the result of years of frustration caused by fighting with systems for alignment, image clarity, ease of attachment, and cost. While there are many options on the market for scope camera capture, they all suffered from at least one of these variables. Image clarity is the most important as it communicates what happened in just a fragment of real-time. The clearer the image the more review value the video has. May it be projectile in flight characteristics or hunting shot placement instances, if you can’t see it clearly, you’re forced to do what you have always done until now and that is to rely on your memory.
The Optional Deluxe package includes: 1 Extra Camera Battery, Two Slot Battery Fast Charger, Open back Camera Case door, 32GB Fast Write SD Memory Card, Assembled Modified Camera Case to OrionCam Adapter. Literally everything you need in one package.
Camera Mount means your scope camera latch will be at the top and your Camera will be on the left of your scope or the right of your scope.
- Image quality is achieved through the use of high-quality German glass as the image splitter.
- The OrionCam is constructed from ABS and PETG Polymers.
- Easy to take on and off and guaranteed concentricity with alignment rings designed specifically for your scope.
- The design supports the use of either the Firefly or GoPro with the proper camera adapter.
- Scope clamps are available in popular scope tube sizes of 1”, 30mm, 34mm, 35mm, or 40mm, or any custom size up to 46mm.
- The advantage of the OrionCam is the ability for the system to be custom tailored for your specific optic.
Use the notes area to communicate what scope you have. Please be sure to give the complete scope part number including the tube size EXAMPLE: Hawke Sidewinder 30 SF 6-24×56

The options may be chosen on the product pageThe Firefly Xs with 12mm lens means great full frame 4K video @ 60FPS or 2.7@60FPS, 1080@180FPS or 720@240FPS. Get amazing video clarity from the new Xs sensor. Remember the stock lens that comes on the Firefly Xs just doesn’t perform when this feature-rich camera is used as a scope camera.
Here is a completely modified Firefly Xs with a high definition 4K 12mm 1.8 lens installed!! We mount the camera case on the adapter of your choice so all you have to do is attach and capture!
OPTIONAL ITEMS:
- User selectable Scope Cam Platform (OrionCam1, OrionCam2, EagleVision)
- Additional Camera Batteries.
- Two Slot Battery Fast Charger
- 64GB Fast Write SD Memory Card
- Multi-Port Media Reader (USB-C, USB-A, USB-Micro, Lightning)
NOTE: In the options, the “Camera Mount” option means your camera will be on the left of your scope or the right of your scope. This allows the start button and case latch to be on the top. Another way to think about this is you want the camera on the same side of the scope as the eye you use, so the camera case is not hitting your nose

$130.00EV Custom 1/1.8″ 12MM LENS
GOPRO 5,6,7 Black, Lens 4K 1/1.8” 12MM, M12 X 0.35
$130.00Read more
Lens fits the GoPro 5, 6 and 7.
This is a high-quality GoPro customized lens with special coatings and a large wide lens to get maximum light to GoPro camera when using GoPro on the rifle scopes, when using it for scope cam such as air gunning, air soft, paintball, hunting, etc. This lens is not a fisheye lens, and because it is 12mm, you will not need to do a bunch of post editing to get the image large enough to share.
You will need to leave the square glass lens protector off because the lens protrudes beyond the housing. This doesn’t matter as the GoPro will be in a case once on the scope camera housing.
Item includes:
- Custom GoPro fitting Lens
We stock the 1/1.8 version because it is the better lens as it allows more light to the camera for brighter images.
Please note:
The GoPro it’s not included, it is only shown so one can see what the lens looks like installed.
If you are looking to seal the space between the lens and the camera, there is an excellent product available by Hunters Custom Solutions LLC
