Description
Like all other adjustable regulators, all air pressure must be relieved from the bottle and the airgun side before attempting to reduce the regulator’s output pressure. No pressure shall be shown on either gauge before adjusting the regulator else you will destroy the regulator.
Operating Pressure Recommendations
Gauntlet 1:
.177/.22 Stock operating pressure 1100PSI Max Recommended pressure is 1400PSI.
.25 Caliber Stock operating pressure 1900PSI Max Recommended pressure is 2100PSI.
Gauntlet 2:
.22 Stock operating pressure 1900PSI Max Recommended pressure is 2100PSI.
.25 Caliber Stock operating pressure 2100PSI Max Recommended pressure is 2300PSI.
Gauntlet 30/30SL:
Stock operating pressure 2800PSI Max Recommended pressure is 3100PSI.
The 360cc, 500cc, or 700cc tank option will require the elimination of the Gauntlets Stock Tank Shroud due to the larger tank diameter.
The 300cc bottle can be installed with the Gauntlets Bottle Shroud if you follow the below.
The Gauntlet 1 needs to have its tank shroud inside diameter increased to allow the foregrip/tank cover to slide over this carbon fiber tank.
Also, the Gauntlet 2 22/25/SL22/SL25/30 or SL30 will require the tank shroud to be modified so the fill port is accessible from the bottom, like in the photo below. We demonstrate how to video below.
Consider picking up our extended foster fill adapter to make coupling and filling a breeze.
The below video shows how to modify the tank shroud to install a Flex Reg, but the same technique is used for to modify the shroud to allow the Black Hawk Pro
While the HubenPower Regulator allows output pressures from 500 psi to 3600 psi, it is critical to recognize the maximum operating pressure of the PCP and to stay within the recommended limits.
