Description
A barrel stabilization clamp that substantially stiffens the barrel substantially reduces the changing point of impact caused by contact with the barrel or shroud. The HP Barrel Bands in either style are made to fit either generation of the Umarex Gauntlet in calibers .177, .22, .25 or .30. If you have a generation 1 Gauntlet, there are a few things to consider when installing the HP Barrel Band. Towards the middle of 2020, Umarex starting using a different regulator manufacturer other than Ninja. This new Regulator is much longer than the Ninja version.
We offer a new Gauntlet 1 extra wide version for use if the Tactical Conversion kit is installed. This because you are no longer limited by the tank stock Umarex tank shroud because it is removed when running the Tactical Kit.
Here is an article I wrote explaining the changes in the regulators.

To install the HP Barrel band, you may be able to just slip it on and you are all set but if you have the older version with the Ninja regulator installed you will have to make a choice.
The forearm shroud cover could be removed to install the HP Barrel Band or a simple trimming modification can be performed that allows the forearm shroud cover to remain installed.

This was easy but I have a band saw after that simple mount like he says don’t overtighten. Mine went on and DID NOT change windage. 1 half turn on the scope elevation and I was right ON. love it as with all other addons he has. Chris van wa.

Very nice quality. Good support for both tank and shroud. Dont overtighten, not needed. Only a click or two elevation was needed to get back on. Great work yet again Hajimoto.

Prevents POI changes very well. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. I didn’t think I was over tightening and heard a crack, but still works fine. Next time I take it off will probably need to super glue it or something. Suggests barely snugging up bolts and tugging on barrel band to see what clamping force it has before continuing.
