Gauntlet O-ring service

This service tears the entire air rifle down, cleans and inspects for part wear, and replaces all the o-rings in your Gauntlet. Whether the o-rings are leaking from age or wear, whether the rifle is actually leaking or not, all o-rings are replaced. The rifle undergoes an incoming inspection which captures the functional and physical condition of the air rifle. This information is presented in a report which must be reviewed and approved prior to any work can begin.
The o- rings that are replaced are:

    • (2) Regulator to gun o-rings.
    • (1) Stock end cap o-ring.
    • (1) Stock air stripper o-ring.
    • (1) Barrel to shroud support collar at breach block o-ring.
    • (2) Bottle block to pressure tube o-rings.
    • (1) Valve body o-ring.
    • (2) Pellet probe o-rings.
    • (3) Barrel to breach block o-rings.

The action is verified and lubricated prior to returning the rifle. The rifle undergoes a pressure test for 24 hours to guarantee there are no pressure losses.

Description

This service takes your Umarex Gauntlet apart and replaces every single o-ring in the air rifle. Shipping is based on the typical Umarex Gauntlet box of 14lbs.  Anything received that is larger or heavier than the standard, will need to have the shipping cost adjusted prior to return shipping. 

Please note that because the rifle is completely torn apart the user will need to resight/rezero the air rifle.

When you place the order for the above-described service, you will receive an order received notification. Shortly after that, you will receive a second notification with details associated with packaging and shipping them in for service.

The use of a chronograph is required in order to know what the rate of travel is of the projectile and there is no better chronograph than the FX Pocket Radar V2. (Power examples given are the .22 caliber version Gauntlet 1) 

    For the Gauntlet 1 and Gauntlet 2. Be sure to select the proper generation as there is a difference and improperly selected kits are not returnable.

    Consider adding the o-ring kit so you have all that you need should one of the factory o-rings get damaged during the kit installation, see option below.

    Remember it is recommended that you order your suppressor one size larger for shrouded barrel PCP’s.
    If you have a .22 caliber shrouded barrel PCP, you’ll want to order a .25 caliber suppressor.
    The .177/.22 is for shrouded barrel .177 or direct barrel threaded PCP’s in .22.
    The .22/.25 is for shrouded barrel .22 or direct barrel threaded PCP’s in .25.
    The .25/.30 is for shrouded barrel .25 or direct barrel threaded PCP’s in .30. The exception to this rule is the Gauntlet .30 which is shrouded but because of the unique end cap, marries the barrel and shroud at the end.
