Gauntlet Barrel Twist Rate

There has been some conflicting information that has been published regarding the Umarex Gauntlet and its barrel twist rate.

Please let me end all the misinformation that is out there once and for all. Whether we are talking about a Gauntlet 1 or a Gauntlet 2 either in .22 or .25 caliber, all Gauntlets have a right-hand twist of 1:20" and the barrels are choked. The exception is the Gauntlet 30 Caliber which has a 1:18 twist rate.

I have been told that the Umarex USA has told folks 1:24" and another G2 owner told me that they read or heard that the twist rate was 1:15". I am not arguing the truth if it was said or not, I am simply eradicating incorrect information.

Again to be clear, all G1 and G2's, have a right-hand 1:20" twist rate. The exception is the Gauntlet 30 Caliber which has a 1:18 twist rate.

The Ninja Pro V2 regulator is world renown for consistency and reliability with low standard deviation and velocity spread. We will build the regulator to output whatever pressure you want from 1100PSI to 2400PSI so you achieve not only the look you want but the power you desire.

This combo is a direct replacement for the stock tank and regulator without any modifications. The Gauntlet 1 will need to have its foregrip/tank shroud covers inside diameter increased because the carbon fiber tank is just slightly larger.

This is a custom cerakoted Hajimoto Edition Gauntlet 1 with the CF tank installed.

We have and still offer a tank shroud modification service if you choose to have us do it for you. Here is what the tank looks like on a Gauntlet 1.

Remember to please follow recommended maximum operating pressure guidelines to prevent your Gauntlet from being damaged or worse, someone getting hurt.

Ninja Pro V2 Regs back in stock!

Finally received my Ninja Pro V2 Regulators. Because of the huge delays in raw materials combined with labor shortages Ninja has struggled to keep up with demand.

I have been waiting months for these ole boys to show up and they will sell out quickly, I'm sure of it.

I am now offering stand alone regulators with custom output or mounted on 13ci and 22ci tanks.

HP Expanded Magazines Now Available

These magazines are available for the following models and calibers.

Umarex Gauntlet 1 & 2 in .22 or .25.
Umarex Origin in .22.
Air Venturi Avenger in .22.

The Avenger .25 Caliber is soon to come.

These designs hold 17 rounds for .22 and 15 rounds for the .25 caliber. That is a 70% increase in shots in .22 and 87.5% increase for the .25 caliber!

The photo shows the magazine installed in a G2 with standard fixed rings under a WestHunter 4-16x44 FFP 30mm tube scope. Some configurations may require adjustable rings like the FX No Limit, Eaglevision Infinity or Sports Match UK Rings for additional clearance.

The mag height is 50.25MM (1.978")

We will be away

Supply Chain Strain

I wanted to take a moment and communicate to my customers and followers because there are so many OUT OF STOCK or SOLD OUT items on my site for that last few months.

First and foremost, I am not closing or shutting down Hajimoto Productions. I am at the mercy of suppliers and they are handcuffed by the manufacturers who are not able to get raw materials in their plants to make the items required to produce the parts or complete products I use or sell.

Shipping costs have tripled in the past 4 months as well as aluminum prices. It is a trying time, but I will continue to stay in the game and do all that can to communicate to you all changes that may be coming as soon as I possibly can.

Adding FedEX to the roster

USPS has been experiencing substantial delays in Priority Package deliveries. I am being told that it is due to Covid but somehow if I pay for Express service, Covid doesn't come into play.

Some 3-4 day deliveries have been seeing 12-18 day delivery times. Please know that once you receive the tracking number from Hajimoto Productions and the tracking information shows the package as ACCEPTED BY THE USPS, it is no longer in my control. Don't get me wrong, I will do all that I can to keep you updated on the status of the package's journey but once they have it, its on them.

Because of these unacceptably long delivery times, Hajimoto Productions is now offering FEDEX delivery service as an alternative to our typical USPS service.

Moratorium lifted

Hello there airheads! As you know I do not do back orders because it is my believe that if I cannot provide a service right now then I have no business taking your money. This is why I have always paused accepting new orders when the demand gets too high or the turn around time for custom builds/tuning service stretches out beyond 14 days.

That said, I have caught up with the overwhelming rush of orders received during the 2020 Christmas holiday season for custom builds and tuning requests. The moratorium that I enacted on or about December 15th is now lifted and I am once again accepting build and tune orders.

I have a limited supply of .22 Calibers but a fair amount of .25 caliber Gauntlets in stock and ready to built how you want it.

2021 Hajimoto Edition Gauntlet

The 2021 HE will be available in the first quarter of 2021 and in keeping with the previous versions, they will be in limited supply. This year's version has some very special features that will certainly put a smile on the face of power seekers.

It will offer an externally adjustable regulator that is coupled with an 18ci carbon fiber bottle that holds 4500PSI. The tank shroud is custom modified to accommodate the new power flex combo tank system as well as any stock diameter cylinder as well.

The rifle's breech block is laser etched to display the Custom Built Hajimoto Edition and logo as a badge of authenticity. Additional features will include a placarded custom hard case that proudly displays the contents to be a "Custom Built Hajimoto Edition".

The rifle will come with an expanded magazine so the shooter can spend more time shooting and less time reloading. There will be adjustable height scope rings and a very nice optic included in this edition. A two stage trigger will be standard equipment on the HE. The barrel shroud will be reduced and a DonnyFL Tatsu will be on the end keeping the overall length manageable as well as making the 2021 HE whisper quiet.
