Sidelever Free Install Ending Soon

by Hajimoto

Wuzz Gowin Owin Peeple?

As you all know back in February of 2023 we shared in an ARTICLE here at Hajimoto Productions, where we were regarding our non-destructive modification that adds a sidelever to the Umarex Gauntlet 1, Gauntlet 2, or the Gauntlet 30 caliber variants for $150 USD

We explain in the ARTICLE why we were not able to offer the sidelever as a stand-alone part and to be fair to all involved, we opted to continue to offer the sidelever as a service for the same price of $150 USD.

On July 22, 2023, will be 5 months that we have installed hundreds of our sidelever for the standalone price.

This blog post is to announce that starting on July 23, 2023, we will no longer be installing the sidelever labor free. We will be charging $220 USD for our sidelever installed in your Gauntlet 1, Gauntlet 2, or Gauntlet 30 caliber.

Thank you for your support.

Carbon Fiber Your Gauntlet 1 or 2

by Hajimoto

4500PSI Carbon Fiber bottle with installed Ninja Pro V2 Regulator

Now offering pure straight-up sexy for your Umarex Gauntlet. Whether you have a Gauntlet 1 or a Gauntlet 2 you can add this combination for reliable fixed operating pressure regulation that means more shots and more power, if that is how you request it to be built. HERE

Straight-up sexy!

The Ninja Pro V2 regulator is world renown for consistency and reliability with low standard deviation and velocity spread. We will build the regulator to output whatever pressure you want from 1100PSI to 2400PSI so you achieve not only the look you want but the power you desire.

This combo is a direct replacement for the stock tank and regulator without any modifications. The Gauntlet 1 will need to have its foregrip/tank shroud covers inside diameter increased because the carbon fiber tank is just slightly larger.

This is a custom cerakoted Hajimoto Edition Gauntlet 1 with the CF tank installed.

We have and still offer a tank shroud modification service if you choose to have us do it for you. Here is what the tank looks like on a Gauntlet 1.

Remember to please follow recommended maximum operating pressure guidelines to prevent your Gauntlet from being damaged or worse, someone getting hurt.

Gauntlet Transfer Port Talk

by Hajimoto

The purpose of porting, polishing, chamfering and bird mouthing air conveyance infrastructure is to reduce drag or pressure drop and inducing velocity stack. More efficient airflow to the projectile, in turn, increases projectile velocity.

Because velocity is increased, less hammer preload is required because the internals are delivering the air more efficiently which in turn, increases shot count.
The key and most important thing to remember is that the transfer port outlet inside the barrel should never exceed 80% of the bore diameter. This only because when loading a pellet into the breech anything larger than 80% tends to grab the projectile and gouge or deform it.

The projectile will try and load into the transfer port if the transfer port is too large.

The key is to taper and smooth like a funnel towards the chamber. Bird mouth the inlet side of the transfer port in the barrel so it is larger than the outlet side of the barrel again funneling the air rather than fighting a sharp 90° transfer of direction and creating jetties or vertices that essentially reduce the flow by upwards of 50% (See attached sketch).

Just like in engine building, anything you can do to help an aspirating system loose drag or pressure drop is an improvement in performance.
