This is my aluminum CNC’d camera case latch replacement. Eventually, the lightweight plastic latch that comes on the Firefly Camera case fails and that means your camera is not held in place and you are not able to record your shots through your scope camera assembly. This part requires your original wire hinge piece which typically never breaks.
The Side Shot Firefly setup all done for you! Hajimoto professionally modified and installed a Firefly 8SE case so all you need to do is install your scope clamp drop in your Firefly 8SE 9o degree distortionless camera and go. You can also go with the complete turnkey solution which includes the Firefly Camera as well!

Direct replacement no modifications required.
It is recommended that you remove the white silicone gasket on the door so it is easier to close and does not impart too much stress on the hinges or the latch assembly. After all, we are not trying to achieve a waterproof assembly anyway.
