Mount the NateChrony SmartTarget to the back of your existing targets, when the target is struck by an object & moves – the SmartTarget will detect the movement, register the shot, and based on the way your target moves – tell you approximately where the shot landed.

SmartTarget
The NateChrony SmartTartget has an inbuilt motion sensor that detects movement, by analysing this movement it can detect being hit, and also the possible location of that hit. Mounting to a free moving target such as a hanging gong is highly recommended – as it can freely move in left-right and up-down directions.
The SmartTarget can be mounted to any surface, and used to detect any object – airguns, firearms, baseball… If you need to detect movement and strike location, the SmartTarget is for you.
The features will be rapidly improving as we get customer feedback and develop additional features.

Requirements

You’ll need this stuff to use the SmartTarget – typically if you have a mobile phone you’re set!

A target: when struck at the extremities at the highest power, at the closest range – it should move/rotate approx 45 degrees
A 5v USB power source: we recommend a quality USB power bank, 1×28650 will last ~8hrs
Solar panel (recommended): add a small ~2-5W panel to charge while its in the field
USB-C Cable: Choose a quality cable that’s long enough to get the battery away from the hit zone, 1m minimum recommended
If using a mobile phone/tablet, it should be less than 5 years old & up to date
Working knowledge of your device, including browser and internet technologies
Working knowledge of any additional security software installed on your device
A device (phone/tablet) that can connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot, that does not have internet access
A web browser that can connect to a HTTP (not HTTPS) web page and run JavaScript
You can test your device here, ensure the page loads and displays a speed and power value, and when clicking on Menu – Shoot, you hear the speed and power readout
